*** THIS IS NOT A GEORGIA PATENTS HOSTED EVENT ***
Georgia PATENTS would like to recommend a valuable course to its members! Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) has teamed up with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) to develop a resource library, called the Patent and Trademark Resource Center (“PTRC”). The PTRC provides assistance to inventors to learn more about the patent prosecution process and is offering a monthly course for inventors that introduces free patent databases, classifications, and search strategies and tips.
Georgia PATENTS highly recommends that inventors, who would like a better understanding of how to protect their invention, attend this course. PLEASE SIGN-UP PRIOR TO ATTENDING!

Since 1946, the Georgia Tech Library has been the Patent and Trademark Resource Center [formerly Patent and Trademark Depository Library (PTDL)]. The PTRCs have all available patents issued in the U.S. since 1790 on file together with additional search tools. Though PTRCs are not permitted to do any of the application procedures for you, nor give you legal advice, PTRCs can help you make your search of the patent and trademark databases more efficient. PTRCs can instruct you in the use of the search tools available at the Library to conduct your own patent and trademark searches.
