Corporate Formation for Artists by Pearson Beardsley of Beardsley, P.C.
The seminar will cover why forming a business entity, such as a limited liability company (LLC), is usually a good idea and the risks of not doing so. It will also include practical advice about setting up and maintaining an LLC and other business entities.
Pearson Beardsley is the founder and managing attorney of Beardsley, P.C., a small firm focused on representing clients in business transactions and a variety of other corporate matters. He has been involved in the legal community by serving as a member of the Disciplinary Panel of the State Bar of Georgia (Investigative Panel) since 2011, and as a board member and volunteer for various nonprofit organizations. Pearson received his Bachelors of Arts in English, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1997, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctorate from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2001.
