Counsel is a partner at Duncan Bergman Mandell. Counsel represents entrepreneurs, emerging companies and investors in negotiated transactions with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and joint ventures. He specializes in capital-raising transactions, equity incentives, and corporate governance. Counsel is also a musician and former theatre hand. Counsel earned his JD and undergraduate degrees at Georgia State University. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and the theatre in his spare time.
