Brent Radcliff is an attorney with the firm’s Intellectual Property and Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice groups. His primary practice is focused on intellectual property analysis, counseling and litigation. Mr.Radcliff services a variety of companies across numerous industries,including travel, industrial safety equipment, manufacturing machinery,music rights & licensing, publishing, alcohol and restaurants. He handles matters related to anti-counterfeiting, trademark and copyright registration and defense, IP portfolio administration and management,and all aspects of IP trial practice. With regard to his music industry work, Brent has drafted and negotiated all manner of agreements for artists, studios, musicians and related industry contractors.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Radcliff served as a trademark examining attorney for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the Washington, D.C. metro area. He has extensive experience resolving complex trademark issues, interpreting trademark rules, reviewing applications and appearing before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Radcliff also worked as an attorney advisor with all the requisite clearances for the Office of International Trade for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the largest agency under the United States Department of Homeland Security. In this role, he drafted decisions and prepared memoranda addressing civil penalties, seizures and forfeitures for goods. While working for the Office of International Trade, Mr. Radcliff also evaluated portions of the U.S. Customs’ IP trade policy guidance and coordinated updates for the agency. He also prepared and presented IP and anti-counterfeiting enforcement trainings for customs officials andattorneys at U.S. Ports of Entry.
Mr. Radcliff attended Howard University School of Law. He is admitted to the State Bars of Georgia and Maryland.
Outside of the office, Mr. Radcliff travels extensively with his wife and enjoys discovering new restaurants and spending time with family.
