 wner of an invention that is useful\, novel\, and non-obvious over the pri
 or art. The owner of a U.S. patent may exclude others from practicing the 
 invention for about 20 years after the filing date of the application whic
 h gave rise to the patent. This seminar will cover what makes an invention
  “patentable” and provide an overview of the patent application proces

 s his practice on preparing and pursuing patent rights for inventors. Alth
 ough Zach’s primary practice is focused on utility patents\, Zach enjoys

 and graphical user interfaces.  Zach was previously a patent fellow at Ge
 orgia Lawyers for the Arts\, where he assisted first-time inventors obtain
  patent drafting services on a pro bono basis. Before Zach attended law sc
