Tasha Tavaras has been an art lover from a very young age excelling in creative writing, music and theater. After taking a class in photography, she fell in love with the visual arts and was accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Photography. During the final semester of her senior year, Tasha and fellow classmates produced a senior photography show and she became interested in the business side of the arts. She made the decision to return to SCAD and completed a Masters of Arts in Arts Administration in June of 2016. Currently, she is working as the Director of Programming for Georgia Lawyer for the Arts. Tasha is looking forward to lending her passion and knowledge to helping Atlanta become a city that fully embraces the arts and artists and is looking for new opportunities in arts management and innovation.
