What is Georgia Lawyers for the Arts?
Georgia Lawyers for the Arts (GLA) is a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance and educational programming to artists and arts organizations. GLA offers access to educational seminars, an in-house resource library, and a network of over 1,000 volunteer and member attorneys to provide legal assistance to artists of all disciplines.

GLA HOLIDAY HOURS
GLA will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 24 in observance of Thanksgiving.
GLA will also be closed Thursday, Dec. 20 through Tuesday, Jan. 2 for Christmas and the New Year.

Who does GLA serve?
GLA serves the entire Georgia arts community. An artist can be a painter, sculptor, author, playwright, musician, film-maker, and much more!
How do I become an Artist Member?

Can GLA give me legal advice?
While GLA does employ attorneys and law students, GLA cannot give legal advice to its clients. We work diligently to pair you with a qualified attorney.
Can GLA help me with my invention?
Georgia PATENTS is a separate program designed to assist inventors. For more information about the program and to see if you qualify, visit the Georgia PATENTS website to review our requirements and fill out an application.
